Dr. David Livesey – The family physician in the novel Treasure Island.
A story that was retold many times during Dr. Kishore’s early childhood.
As the ship’s doctor, he treats the wounded pirates, even though they are his enemies. Devoted to his Hippocratic Oath, Doctor Livesey demonstrated courage and strength of character. He can very well be considered the hero of the story.

In his formative years Dr. Kishore, enjoyed the companionship of his German Shepard.
A Puppy Poem
You can’t buy loyalty, they say
I bought it though, the other day;
You can’t buy friendship, tried and true,
But just the same, I bought that too.
I made my bid, and on the spot
bought love and faith and a whole lot
Of happiness, so all in all
The price was pretty small
I bought a single trusting heart,
That gave devotion from the start
So Thank you Lord for giving me
This human person that I see.
